Zack Paul is an abstract artist based in upstate New York whose work explores the tension between gesture and restraint, movement and stillness, the seen and the felt.

Working intuitively through layered surfaces, subtle tonal shifts, and spontaneous mark-making, Zack Paul creates visual records of internal landscapes, tracing what exists beneath language and just beyond conscious understanding. His paintings emerge through a process of addition and erasure, allowing form to surface, dissolve, and reorganize.

Rooted in a longstanding exploration of consciousness, embodiment, and the inner world, Zack Paul's practice is less concerned with representation than revelation. Each work holds space for ambiguity and contemplation, inviting the viewer to slow down, look inward, and encounter something of themselves within the painting.
